What a Day!

Today was the last organized ride/run of the season for me. It's getting too cold to schedule rides, so they are just spot rides from now on.
So, 300+ miles for the day, but it's not all good. At the end of the day, my wife was following me and 3 more bikes behind us. We went into a 90 degree corner, I heard tires screeching and then metal grinding, looked back and saw my wife sliding, then her bike high sided, throwing her into the other lane. She crumpled like a ragdoll and just lay there. I pulled across the opposite lane to block it and jumped off my bike and ran back. She rolled onto her back and ended up being semi-responsive. To make a long story short, after she got treated she ended up with a concussion, broken wrist and broken collar bone. She had on full leathers and a helmet, so she avoided road rash and major injuries. She was "lucky" in the end. My son was pretty shooken up, but is taking it like a trooper. She's home resting now and will be hurting tomorrow when she wakes up!

Holy Crap, I hope she doesn't feel to much of it, I am sorry to hear that. Take care of your wife, and we all wish her a speedy and painless recovery. Keep us posted, we are here if ya need us.

Let her know our prayers are with her and that she needs to talk to you when she's being neglected, she doesn't have to throw herself around to get your attention.
Hope no offence is taken by my lame humor, trying to lighten a bad situation.

JJ u are a humor guy and funny to and that is a cool ride it looks like it would be fast to lkhope all is well and she is in our thoughts and hope she gets feeling better

Thanks all for the good thoughts and wishes. She is doing better, she's sore but better. On wednesday she will go see the orthopedic surgeon to see what the plan is with the bones healing and if her wrist is broken. I've been talking to Sage and my insurance company today, they are coming to look at the bike wednesday, then I can load it up and bring it home and change out the undamaged parts back to stock. Anyone need good shocks for a motorcycle - lol!
I'll get a couple pictures posted later, took some on the ride and of the bike after her stunt show!
