well r u running two or more hard drives that are raid able? Satas? If so I know Wrath knows that stuff, but if needed I am sure I can do a bit of research to assist. You might first try sending wrath an xfire and PM, he will get those fastest.

UM----Commander, I did a

UM----Commander, I did a raid on non-satas?

Though if you're trying to combine ata and sata(ya can't!)

explanation:You can't combine SATA & ATA disks together to form a RAID array

granted they weren't of large volumes, though was able to place the OS(Operating System) on one drive and then redirected all other software and documents to the other drive.

Um though it was about setting in the bios a master and a slave...

In linux Raid 5 looks like this:

raiddev /dev/md0raid-level 5nr-raid-disks 7nr-spare-disks 0persistent-superblock 1parity-algorithm left-symmetricchunk-size 32device /dev/sda3raid-disk 0device /dev/sdb1raid-disk 1device /dev/sdc1raid-disk 2device /dev/sdd1raid-disk 3device /dev/sde1raid-disk 4device /dev/sdf1raid-disk 5device /dev/sdg1
