NEW BRIG SERVERS

The new server station has been built, took a little over two hours to build, started right up without a hitch, could be up an running this weekend, depends on the programmer and his schedule. I have my part done, we are ready to move on this and should at least be on the rise in the near future.

  1. First step download this file: http://mirror.cs.vt.edu/pub/MEPIS/SimplyMEPIS-CD_7.0-rel_64.iso
  2. Then burn the ISO to CD.
  3. Put the CD in the drive of the server.
  4. Boot the server.
  5. Call me.

We're making progress on the new server(s)

We had some flakey hardware configuration issues that plagued us for a while but those are resolved.  I'm proud to say that Sage is moving around in the Mepis Linux environment very.  Kudos Boss.  We're currently working on setting up remote management and then we'll start working on the CoD4 servers.  We'll let you guys know when it's time to start testing.  :-)  -=w=-
